Tranquility by Asake
A talented Nigerian singer and YBNL signee, Asake returns to the music scene with another smashing hit single titled “Tranquility.”
Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake or Mr Money, is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer, songwriter, and performer.
He was born in Lagos State on January 13, 1995. Asake is a Yoruba from the southwestern part of Nigeria.
Asake’s freestyle “Lady” went viral shortly after its release in 2020, introducing him to music fans.
The song’s popularity drew the attention of Nigerian influencers and celebrities such as Sydney Talker, NastyBlaq, and Broda Shaggi.
Following the success and response to “Lady,” Asake released a new single “Mr Money” the following year, earning him three nominations for the City People Choice Award.
He was nominated for two of the three awards, including Most Popular Song of the Year. He was also in Broda Shaggi’s “Star” and DJ Exclusive “Gegeti.”
Later, he worked on the remix for his 2020 smash track “Mr Money” with Afrobeats artists Zlatan and Peruzzi. The song earned him the moniker
Asake was introduced as the label’s newest member in February 2022. Asake later released his self-titled EP “Ololade Asake” in response to the announcement.
The EP was a huge success, reaching number one on Apple Top Album Music and giving him his first number one.
The project was also a success, with songs such as Omo Ope, Sungba, Trabaye, and Baba God topping music charts.
This sizzling piece of music is yet another follow-up to his previously discovered hit track titled “Yoga.”
