Olivetheboy “One Bebe”: The Commitment Anthem
“One Bebe” is track 6 on Olivetheboy’s Out of the Blue EP, released April 11, 2025. It’s the EP’s love declaration — a smooth Afrobeats record about choosing one person and making it known.
Produced by Beatzvampire, the song has a mid-tempo bounce with warm melodies and minimal percussion. It gives space for Olivetheboy’s vocals to carry the emotion without distraction.
Olivetheboy explained it directly: “‘One Bebe’ is an announcement to the world and to your baby that all through your years, all through your life, there’s only one person that makes you feel the way you feel, that gives you the butterflies, that makes you feel like a king or a queen.”
The lyrics mix Twi, Pidgin, and English. Lines like “M’ate ahwe fɔm and you know that” and “Na you wey dey hold my soul oh” hit like a personal vow. The chorus “If you do my body, do it to my soul / One and o / Na you wey dey hold my soul oh” blends physical attraction with emotional commitment — a recurring theme on Out of the Blue.
On the EP, “One Bebe” sits between “Survivor” and “A Fuul,” moving from independence back into monogamous devotion. It’s less explicit than “Tattoo” and “Bend,” less flirty than “Design,” and more intentional. Fans use it as a dedication track for anniversaries and proposals.
