Olivetheboy – Tattoo

“Tattoo” is track 3 on Olivetheboy’s Out of the Blue EP, released April 11, 2025. Produced by Beatzvampire, it’s the EP’s most explicit and most viral cut — blending Afrobeats rhythm with blunt, sexual confessions.

The song’s hook is unforgettable: “Now I got a tattoo oh / Your punani I drew o / Do you see the pain in glory omo?” It uses the tattoo metaphor to talk about marking someone permanently through intimacy. Olivetheboy leans into graphic detail, but it’s delivered with his signature melodic tone so it lands more seductive than crude.

Fans ran with it immediately. The chorus became a TikTok sound for late-night clips, and the track hit 725K+ plays on Audiomack within months. It’s one of the songs that “took over the conversation across social media” after the EP dropped.

Lyrically, it’s Olivetheboy at his most unfiltered. Lines like “What goes around comes around so I do not go around no more / I will only go inside your cunt oh” show the shift from his earlier, safer love songs on Avana. He told Apple Music the EP is about “everything about love… the intimacy in there. You find the heartbreaks in there. You find everything in love”. “Tattoo” is the raw, physical side of that.

On Out of the Blue, it sits between “Bend” ft. Sarkodie and the softer tracks, giving the project balance. If “Convo” is reassurance and “Bend” is grown-up lust, “Tattoo” is obsession — messy, possessive, and honest.
