Holy by MohBad

MohBad closes Light EP with Holy and leaves us with a promise. Track 8. 18 December 2020. 24 minutes, 8 songs. Marlian Music. This is how Imole chose to end his debut. The E tag means even his holiness is street.

Holy is MohBad making a vow. To himself, to God, to the game. The beat is solemn but triumphant. Afrobeats with a choir undertone and drums that march. He’s not claiming to be a saint. He’s declaring he wants to live right, stay clean, avoid the traps. “Holy” as in purpose, not perfection.

This is 2020 Imole tying the whole EP together. Light EP started with Sorry. An apology for the past. It ends with Holy. A commitment for the future. Between those two tracks he gave us Marlians Anthem, Ponmo, Omokomo, Once Debe with Davido, Cinderella, and Father Abraham. Every mood, every side of him. Holy is the full circle.

The record feels like a benediction. MohBad is blessing the project, blessing his hustle, blessing the listener. In 2026, Holy plays like a goodbye we didn’t know we were getting. He wanted to live holy. He wanted peace. He told us on the last track of his first EP.

No features. Just Imole ending it alone like he started it. Light EP is 24 minutes of a young legend introducing himself. 8 songs. No skips. From Sorry to Holy. From confession to conviction.

This EP dropped 18 December 2020 and changed Nigerian street pop. Bigxmotion will keep all 8 tracks updated with full lyrics. Rest well, Imole. Your light still dey shine.
