O’Kenneth – Breaks
O’Kenneth – Breaks [Single]
About the Track
O’Kenneth taps back in with Breaks a cold Asakaa drill cut that reminds you why he’s Kumasi’s voice. No features, no filler. Just Kenn and the beat.
Breaks is about pressure, hate, and having to switch up when the streets get too hot. He’s talking survival: who switched sides, who stayed loyal, and why he can’t afford breaks when the opps never rest. Classic O’Kenneth raw, direct, no industry talk.
Sound & Vibe
Dark drill drums + sliding 808s + that eerie UK/Ghana drill blend Asakaa made famous. Tempo is aggressive but controlled. Perfect for car speakers, gym, and late night Kumasi energy. Hook is chantable, verses hit like street reports.
Lyrics Theme
1. Paranoia: “Every corner eye dey watch me” energy
2. Loyalty: Calling out snakes vs real ones
3. Hustle: No breaks, no rest until the goal is reached
4. Kumasi pride: Repping the city hard from first bar to last
This is O’Kenneth in his element — angry, focused, and speaking for the youth who feel the same pressure.
