Refund Or We Escalate This – Wendy Shay Threatens Air Peace Over Flight Issues

Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has called out Nigerian airline Air Peace over what she described as poor customer service and unresolved refund issues.

In a post shared on X on November 2, 2026, the singer revealed that she had booked flights to Nigeria twice for a show due to booking complications.

According to Wendy Shay, her team paid for six tickets to Nigeria in January through the airline’s website but did not receive any booking confirmation. Because they were time-bound for a show, they had no choice but to book another set of flights.

She said that since the double payment, she and her team have been trying to get a refund for the initial booking, but all attempts to reach the airline have failed.

Wendy Shay further complained about the airline’s lack of proper customer service in Ghana, stating that whenever her team tried to contact Air Peace, they were told to send an email to Nigeria, which never received a response.

She wrote that her team had sent several emails to the airline but got no feedback, questioning how the airline operates in Ghana without a functional customer service centre.

Expressing her frustration, Wendy Shay demanded an immediate refund and warned that she would escalate the matter to the relevant authorities if the airline fails to act.

The singer’s post has since attracted attention on social media, with many fans sharing similar experiences with flight bookings.
