You Need To Apologise To Stonebwoy – Davido Tells Carter Efe Over Disrespectful Remarks

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has asked popular streamer Carter Efe to render an apology to Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy over comments he made during his recent stay in Ghana.

A video making rounds on social media shows Davido speaking to Carter Efe on a video call, where he expressed his displeasure about the remarks directed at Stonebwoy.

In the video, Davido told Carter Efe plainly that he did not like what he said about Stonebwoy and that he needed to apologise.

Carter Efe, in response, accepted his mistake and promised to apologise. He said he would kneel down in Morocco to beg Stonebwoy for forgiveness.

The streamer made the promise while preparing to travel to Morocco after receiving an invitation from Davido.

The call for an apology comes after Carter Efe faced heavy backlash for statements he made during a livestream in Ghana. In the livestream, Carter Efe said he should be compared to Stonebwoy instead of Shatta Wale, claiming that Shatta Wale is the biggest, which suggested that Stonebwoy was not on his level.

He also made fun of Stonebwoy’s physical condition and alleged that Ghanaian streamer Made in Ghana was the one who gave him information about the artiste.

The comments triggered criticism online, with many fans describing them as disrespectful to the award-winning Ghanaian musician.

Davido and Stonebwoy have had a strong friendship for years, with both artistes often referring to each other as brothers in public. Davido also has a friendly relationship with Carter Efe and has featured on some of his livestreams, which is why his call for an apology has drawn wide attention.
