Carter Efe-Stonebwoy Disrespect Saga: Shatta Wale Defends Made In Ghana

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has waded into the controversy involving Ghanaian streamer Made in Ghana and Nigerian content creator Carter Efe, defending the Ghanaian streamer against claims of disrespect.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session with members of the Shatta Movement fanbase, Shatta Wale insisted that Made in Ghana does not disrespect Ghanaian celebrities.

According to Shatta Wale, the recent backlash against Made in Ghana should not be used to create division among artistes and their fanbases.

He stated clearly that Made in Ghana has no bad intentions towards any celebrity in Ghana and has always shown respect to entertainers.

Shatta Wale revealed that Made in Ghana has on several occasions expressed his admiration for Stonebwoy and his desire to connect with him, but faced challenges in approaching him.

He recounted how Made in Ghana had told him about seeing Stonebwoy at events and trying to approach him but being stopped.

Shatta Wale also clarified that despite the rivalry often portrayed between their fanbases, he does not consider Stonebwoy as his enemy.

The On God hitmaker urged fans to stop turning entertainment into a battlefield, stressing that the industry should be a place for creativity, unity and fun, not war.

He criticized the negativity often seen on some fan platforms, particularly those associated with Stonebwoy, saying the constant display of hostility brings bad energy into the entertainment space.

Shatta Wale added that he has already spoken to Made in Ghana and encouraged him not to be discouraged by the backlash, advising him to ignore the negativity and stay focused on what he is doing.

His comments come after Carter Efe faced criticism over remarks made during a livestream in Ghana, where he compared himself to Ghanaian dancehall artistes and claimed that Made in Ghana had made comments about Stonebwoy.

The incident has sparked heated debates online, with Shatta Wale calling for an end to fan-driven conflicts and urging supporters to promote unity in Ghanaian entertainment.
