Will You Stop Doing Business With Me? – Mr Eazi Asks Mentor Over TikTok Criticism

Ghanaian-Nigerian musician Mr Eazi has disclosed how a mentor once confronted him over a TikTok video he posted, questioning how it made him appear to the public.

Speaking in a recent interview on 3Music, Mr Eazi shared that the mentor raised the concern during a meeting after they had finished eating. According to him, the mentor said his child had shown him the TikTok clip and felt it did not portray the singer in a good light.

The mentor reportedly told him that as someone who guides him, he needed to advise him and understand who he really is beyond the video.

Mr Eazi said he appreciated the mentor for sharing his concern but decided to ask a direct question about their working relationship.

He recalled asking the mentor whether the TikTok video would make him stop doing business with him, reminding him that they have big business dealings together.

The mentor responded that their business relationship would not be affected by the video, despite his reservations about how it portrayed him.

Mr Eazi said that response opened the door for him to explain his stance on individuality. He told the mentor that he is a different person with his own personality and should not be expected to act like someone else.

He stated that he is Mr Eazi in his own unique way and that his identity, including his signature silver hair and puff-puff hairstyle, sets him apart.
