Kelvyn Boy – 2ND STEP (Album)

Ghanaian Afrobeats star Kelvyn Boy has officially announced his highly anticipated new project titled 2ND STEP Album. The announcement was made via his official X account  with the album artwork and release date.

The cover artwork for 2ND STEP sees Kelvyn Boy in a classy beige double-breasted suit with stylish shades, hands clasped together in a prayer pose, standing in front of a staircase with his back turned in the background – a creative depiction of growth and elevation to the next phase.

2ND STEP serves as a follow-up to his previous works and marks a new chapter in his career journey. According to the teaser, the album is scheduled to arrive on Friday, September 25, 2026 and will be available on all major digital platforms.

While the official tracklist is yet to be unveiled, fans are already anticipating collaborations with top Ghanaian and international acts. Kelvyn Boy who is known for hits like Down Flat, Mea, and Loko has been consistent with delivering smooth Afrobeats melodies fused with Highlife influences.

The project title 2ND STEP suggests personal growth, maturity and a second phase of his musical journey after years in the industry. The album is expected to feature a blend of Afrobeats, Highlife, Dancehall and Afrofusion sounds.
